About
I'm Debi Maniloff, M.A., CCC — a learning strategist who works with post-secondary students with disabilities in Ottawa and online.
My approach is practical and personal. We start where you are. We build the routines, study skills, and self-advocacy strategies that fit your goals, your courses, and your life. No judgment, no jargon — just the small, steady moves that add up to real progress.

How I help
Working together looks different for every student. Common starting points:
- Time and task management — planners, weekly maps, and routines that hold up during exams.
- Study and learning strategies — note-taking, reading, memory and recall techniques tailored to your courses.
- Navigating accommodations — understanding your rights, working with your college's accessibility office, and using your accommodations well.
- Self-advocacy and communication — talking to professors, asking for help, and staying connected to support.
- Confidence and momentum — small wins, regular check-ins, honest reflection.
Sessions are one-on-one, online or in person in Ottawa.
